A day trip works best with one main activity and enough time for the road. An overnight stay gives you more flexibility for cycling the next morning. If arriving late from Ho Chi Minh City, keep the first afternoon simple rather than making a fixed sunset departure your only plan.

Sampan, river boat, bicycle or scooter?
The standalone sampan is a short ride with Vietnamese-speaking hosts. A river trip covers a different water setting. Guided bicycles start at Coco Happy Farm; scooters are a separate hotel-pickup request. Choose by the experience and support you need, not only by the lowest starting price.

Weather and everyday village work
Rain, heat, tides and local activity affect what can happen on the day. Ask for a current weather and route check, carry sun and rain protection, and keep valuables protected from water. Workshops may be closed or not producing; ask before photographing people or entering work areas.

Prepare for narrow paths and small boats
Wear footwear suited to walking and cycling. Tell us about mobility needs, children's ages and luggage before booking. Confirm bike and helmet sizes, life-jacket suitability and boarding arrangements. Do not assume a rural route or boat is step-free.

No. We coordinate with working families, and host availability or production can change. A confirmed itinerary should explain possible alternatives.
