Traditional hand-rowed sampan
A quiet, approximately one-hour ride from Nhon Thanh with Vietnamese-speaking local hosts. Reserve before travelling. This is a standalone rowing experience, not an English-guided village tour.

Candy production is usually visible only when work is active, approximately 09:00–14:00. A closed workshop does not mean the sampan cannot operate.

Sunset & a chance of fireflies
This existing four-hour experience starts and ends at Coco Happy Farm. It combines a covered wooden motorboat, My Long market, local transport, a sampan and the river after dusk. Wild fireflies and a visible sunset cannot be guaranteed.

For a longer look at the waterways, ask for a private motorboat plan with a small selection of community stops. We check the boat, guide, landing places and active workshops for your date. This is a tailored request, not a fixed sailboat itinerary.

A few useful answers
Will the rower speak English?
The standalone Nhon Thanh hosts speak Vietnamese. We help with booking and arrival on WhatsApp. Request an English-speaking guide separately if you would like interpretation.
Are the workshops exclusive?
No. They are shared local workplaces. Visits depend on opening hours, host availability and whether work is happening.
Are fireflies guaranteed?
No. They are wild insects, and visibility varies with conditions. The evening experience is a river journey, not a guaranteed wildlife display.
